In recent years, Facebook has dominated the social networking media. Businesses have been able to target individuals by using Facebook as a key advertising tool; hence cutting costs. Facebook gives businesses a direct way to reach their customer base. I propose to write a report on how businesses can better their marketing strategy to Gen Y clients so that their attention is captivated on this social networking site.
Businesses such as Target have utilized Facebook as a way to advertise to Gen Y effectively. From our focus group results however, Gen-Y is mainly not concerned with ads and find it bothersome to be a member of a business Facebook group. I propose to write a report on how businesses can market to Gen-Y in a better format.
